    I think you will be happy with the T5s. They don't put out too much heat. One of the PC lights on our 14g went out. We initially had put a 150W which was too much and evaporation was such a problem. We retrofitted T5's in the hood and it has worked well! Here's a picture!

    Zoa not opening?

    I doubt they are closed from the cyano. I have had problems when I have had algae build up around the zoas. I have done freshwater dips. I tried furan 2 as well which helped some zoas. Good luck!

    Anyone have experience with no-copper Ich treatement?

    I actually had luck with marine max. I know people say it doesn't work and I had to drop a ton of it in the tank but it really did seem to help to get rid of ich quicker. I also supplement with garlic.

    I agree with the sandwich method. There was some dude named reefnjunkie on our local forum who mentioned this to me and found it works the best. It's still not 100% turbo snail proof but definitely works the best.
