My pump is attached to the base...little did I know i followed the diagram and the pump connected wrong so I accidentally had to remove 2 baffles and break a third to slide it in when in reality i didn't need to at all but without checking the price you would think it was a 300$ skimmer it looks...

Octopus Xtreme Reef Protein Skimmer help

So I got it...managed to fit it in my sump after removing a couple baffles and it has already started skimming with a ton of bubbles (quite amazing i must say) and has about 1/2 cup of yellow water. I'm guessing it's because it hasn't broken in yet but will it begin to skim drier?

    Clownfish

That's what I was thinking it was (just sting marks), I lost my anemone in a flatworm removal process from all the toxins and they have been huddled in a cave with each other every night...they probably just go searching for a new home during the day

    Clownfish

Can't upload any pictures at this time, behavior is fine, still swimming around the other and eating like normal...it almost seems like a skin pigment change

    Clownfish

There's some small black spots on both of my clownfish that look almost like freckles...my friend said his had them too but went away do you perhaps know what this is?

    Seahorse

Sea horses are meant for a species tank and if you decide to get them should be the only fish you have in your tank. They have a hard time competing for food as they are slow swimmers and need alot of rock work to hang onto with their tails depending on what type they are

    Lighting for corals

If your upgrading to a 75 you may want to see about getting 2x250 MH...perhaps a sunpod. They come in every size imaginable and also come with supplement lighting (blue and white LED's for moon lighting and such) and are lowering in price
