    So I am looking to bump the Mag up to 1600- 1650 and break it up that way the test kit I have stops at 1500. Anybody know how to read to higher levels? The test kit is Salifert.

    That was me five months ago, pulled everything but the fish and filterout of the tank, bleached the rocks, and purchased new live rocks and sand. after a bumpy nitrate cycle, started adding corals from the Frag swap. All has been good. Not the recommended method but it's working so far. Good luck.

    Will the diamond sifter scoop up and dump the sand like the goldenhead sifter does? I would like to pick up something to stir the sand but not over everything. Any recomendations?
