    Pod question

I have live rock but no macro algae. Yes I'm feeding a Six line wrasse. I added them to the sump about 2 hours before the lights went on this AM. You could see a ton of tiny pods in the tank is why I was thinking they would end up In the filter sock.

    Pod question

I added a bag of pods to my sump last night. My question is, won't they just end up in my filter sock?

    BC29 LED's

Ya I just quick like snapped those pics. I cut a small notch the size of the wires so they were not pinched & I've started out with the lights at about 25% power & am working my way up from there. So far everyone seems happy. I really like the colors. As far as power goes, ya buddy! when I got...

    BC29 LED's

My lights came! I went with the Plug & Play option. The main reason was (#1) I really don't know squat about LED's & wiring them up (#2) Time savings. When you go Plug & Play, Not only does Steve's wire up the lights but they mount the fan & most important (at least for me) is they calibrate...

    BC29 LED's

I ordered the LED's from Steves LED's. I went ahead & got the plug & play option (they do all the soldering & bench testing) and I also ordered a LED moonlight setup. I'll do a build with pics when they come. here's a link to the moonlight kit. Complete Moonlight Kit

    BC29 LED's

I'm looking at doing a LED upgrade to my BC29. I've been looking at both Steve's and Rapid LED's I admittedly know very little about the specifics of LED's. Does anyone have any experience with either of the kits? http://shop.stevesleds.com/Biocube-29-Gall...etrofit-kit.htm...

    Bio Cube Moon Lights

The power supply is OK so I think next time I have the lid apart to change bulbs I'll chase down which LED it is. Thanks for the help!

    Bio Cube Moon Lights

The Moon Lights in the stock hood of my BC29 are not working. I cannot imagine the the led's are all burned out, I suspect it's the power supply. The problem is, it's a 4 volt power supply & I don't have another 4 volt power supply to plug in to check them, all I have is nine volt for like...

    Ich/QT Tank clean up

Good point. It has been cured, just a bit gun shy I guess. I'm not completely positive it ever had it, it never was scraping against rocks or had any white spots like my clown did.

    Ich/QT Tank clean up

I am in the final stages of curing my BC29 of ICH. The tank has been fallow for nine weeks, my 6 line Wrasse has been in the OT tank undergoing a hyposalinty treatment. My question is, when I move the Wrasse back to the cube what do I need to do to my QT tank as far as sterilizing it & making it...

Painting the back of your tank - does color matter?

A friend of who no longer is in the hobby said he used to use mirror type window tint so it made his tank look deeper. I never saw it so I can't say how well it worked.

    Moving a Desasa

No it's just lying on it's side on the sand bed. If it let's go it just won't be connected to the rock anymore.

    Moving a Desasa

Anybody know how to get a Derasa clam to let loose of the rock that it has it's foot attached to? I had to swap tanks due to mine cracking and was unable to put the rock back into the same place & now the clam is on it's side. Should I just leave it & see if it will straighten up. Mike
