    Starving Lawnmower blenny

Mine accepted prepared food (O.S.I. marine pellets) after couple of months! After that he's getting so fat that I'm little bit worried about it. :D It's funny to see how he, being not a great swimmer, successfully competes with my other big fishes like tangs, foxface and moorish idol during...

    maroon clown

Not so bad ;) He is defending his territory only and even my hand when I try to rearrange something near his BTA. I noticed that he doesn't like one of my T-shirt :D Every time I wear it he tries to attack me thru the front glass, even so badly, I'm scared he would kill himself. Here's...

Yes, the excessive blue tint of high K MH bulbs may totally mess camera white balance settings. That's why usually color balance needs some corrections afterwards during photo editing. In some cases UV filters may be useful, at least I find out that finding right color balance would be easier...

Actually I have Sony F828 Cybershot :D The problem with such a sophisticated camera might be you'll never learn/use all the fine features it has. I ordered that camera before it came officially on the market in the beginning of last year and still I'm using very limited set of...

You need good lighting to get sharp pictures. Those were taken using two external flashes, one from above and second from side, both appoximately at angle of 45 deg. Did you switch your camera into macro mode? It depends on your camera/lens how close you can/should go to take a good macro.

    Is this a Ctenophore?

Thanks :) More pictures... I was actually hunting with camera those tiny bugs crawling around on the rock. But along with bugs there appeared a nice worm on the picture  Its feeding tentacle is about 1.5", looks much longer although. As I took a series of shots, then below...

    Is this a Ctenophore?

Nikki, the sand bed of my tank is totally covered with those worms! They do appear on the rocks also. It's very funny to see how they catch the food particles from bottom.
