    Something is not right in my tank

    Are you feeding frozen foods directly? Or do you thaw and rinse? Vibrio has been showing up in packaged frozen foods...just a thought. And while I'm on that train...anyone have any tips on how to strain some of these frozen foods effectively...lol...without it becoming an all day affair?

    Why???? Not to argue--just want to understand--I thought the aeration was to restore lost oxygen, etc. from the RO/DI processing. Is this wrong? What purpose does mixing make-up well water for 24 hours versus 4 hours accomplish?

    Question about mixing Saltwater

    I know that when using RO water you should aerate your mix 24 hrs. However, I use well water, and I am wondering what the mix time should be for a small amount of replacement water..i.e 3-5 gals?

    Upside Down Anemone

    It might not be a Sebae. I brought home a white anemone (with a pink foot) which I had trouble identifying at first--until it finally settled down and started eating--then it started to show bubble tips on its tentacles! You might have a Quadricolor.

    Anyone here dealt with/or familiar with Extreme Corals.com? I was checking out their site and they seem to have some nice critters...just wondering about their reputation. Heads up if you are going to browse there--they must have one of the slowest servers on the planet--no joke!:eek:

    I have one but I don't use it--it only allows access from the top--lol, another feeding fiasco.
