Right on! Good find then. Your rock was a heck of a lot cooler than mine then. Mine just gave me crabs :P)

    BReefed's 90 gallon set up

Hahah! Thank you for the compliment. I uhhh... kinda broke down and decided to let him stay. He made a nice new burrow under my rockwork where I can watch him. I'm way too much of a softy for this hobby sometimes. The evil stonecrab that I caught eating my corals did get sumped however...

    quik ID help please

Sure sounds like a LPS? Applying Occum's Razor here, what prevents it from being a fungia? Only thing I would say is that I don't see a ridged skeleton of any kind. If there was one I'd guess F. Scutaria or F. Somervillei. Can you take a top down photo? Might want to move it away from that...

    BReefed's 90 gallon set up

Only big changes to the tank this time is the removal of the two giant rose bubbles. I wanted some more room for coral, and after the attack on my hydnophora that wiped out half of the colony I decided enough was enough. My ocellaris has resettled and moved to the long tentacle in the corner...

What an amazing reef. Which I had room for a 270g. Very impressive.

    New Fishies from LiveAquaria

Pretty little Hog. I think I saw that guy on Diver's Den the other day. Admittedly I just go there to stare at the cool fish. Nice to know where one of the ones I was eyeing ended up.

    Bizzare Sighting at the LFS

Yeah, I was just a bit surprised because well... the place isn't a Petco and they have a pretty good sized reef section. It was also the store that got me into this hobby, although these days I typically get everything from a couple of our sponsors (Red C & Barrier). They do an awesome job and...

    Bizzare Sighting at the LFS

I end up having to do a lot of driving on my weekends which usually means leaving my tank for couple days. In order to break up the drives, I often stop by one of the five LFS I pass on my way back to Lynnwood. I think after today however, I may have to cross one off of my list. Perhaps someone...

Soon to be at my place in the new tank

Was a beautiful set up. If I had room for it, I would have put the money down in a heartbeat. Sadly, there's only room for a 4' tank in my house.

What is it? Can you guess!

Either a pocillopora or a stylophora?

    Fire worm eating fish?

Yeah, no fun. Totally understand why you want to seperate them then. Best of luck with the bottle and the retrieval!

    Fire worm eating fish?

Think there's any chance that they might settle down and carve out territories or is it constant, ruthless chasing? Only time I've ever owned a tank with multiple gobies was a brackish tank with a bunch of bumblebees and they eventually carved out territories and claimed personal caves. Every so...

Soon to be at my place in the new tank

Good call! Besides, think of how many awesome, interesting smaller things you will be able to house in a tank that size. 10 fish with different behaviors are probably a lot more interesting than a pacing, gasping shark trying to turn around! Can't wait to see what you do with that awesome...

    Fire worm eating fish?

I'm not very good at catching fish to be honest. With blennies and dragonets I've always just caught them by hand, but depending on your rock scape that may not work for you. The whole 'no swim bladder' bit makes them have to stay pretty well attached to your rocks, walls, or substrate so they...

    Fire worm eating fish?

Yes, there's a chance that a six-line will eat your cleaners, especially if they aren't fed frequently and the cleaners are smaller than them. They are more of a threat to smaller shrimp like anemone shrimp and peppermint shrimp however. Plenty of people out there house the two together without...

where & when is the next NSR meeting

I'd love to come sometime, but weekends are usually impossible for me since I am in Yakima nearly every weekend, unless it is on a Sunday night. Don't know if a Sunday night or a weekday night would work for anyone?
