    thanks guys, i've learned something that i should have ask long time ago just a thought that can i just slow down the carbonate hardness demand if i reduce the light hours or intensity ? (i guess the coral grow rate will be affected, but i felt that they are a bit out of control in my tank)

    Sump/fuge plans....will this work?

    hi ilektrik, here's how i got mine worked out, and it's great. i don't ever have to worry about siphon break or sump overflow problem. a surface skimmer connected to a pump will also do the job if you don't like the compartment :)

    according to the review, ARM suppose to be the better substrate for CA. i used it once and there's hair algae grow qall over my tank (still have 3/4 can with me). changed to TUNZE Hardness Granules and hair algae getting lesser now.

    nope, totally agreed with you. i aware about the crowdiness, and have been upgraded from 2 x 25g to this 2 years ago. can't manage to upgrade further because of space constraint and time consumed, got another 75g reef to take care of. some of them have been with me for 5 years. giving up on them...

    a queen, it's brought up in my tank from as small as 2" juvenile. color turn out to be not so brilliant :(
