Well after the cycle I stopped testing altogether. I match salinity and temp. both heaters are preset and I haven't even checked the temp in allmost six months unless you count puting my hand in the water. I do a water change of 95% every week or so, I also dose .5ml of fuel after the water...

I've been meaning to post up my femto for some time. I started this tank on 7/7/2012 I used a vase and had to modify it so the lid would fit This is just after I cut out the holes for the heater cord and air stone for circulation. Day one I decided I hated this lights color and traded it out...

Wow, looking at the date I don't post enough. I am going to shut this tank down soon, just need to find a home for a trigger fish who probably shouldn't be in it anyways. I'm not going away. I have learned lots of things with this first set up, I still have a .92 Femto A 20 long and a 100...

Well Update Time. So lets see, I've added a RKL Putting sand back in the tank slowly The aptisa are seemingly gone, so I moved the Filefish to a 55 gal. tank that could use his help. and best of all the nitrate has settled back down to 0 for the last 25/28 days.

Humm.. Seems that Totem420 made a comment that got ate. "very nice tank, just thought i would point out that those are not dendros, to me they look like duncans" He points out that I've been using the wrong name for that coral. I've been using the two interchangeably. The good news...

I did a bad thing. I gave my tank a freshwater dip. :jaw: I poured in six gallons of freshwater that I thought was salt. So my tank went from 35 parts to 20 in less than a min. Luckily I had ten gallons of salt on hand and managed to bring the tank back up to 30 parts with enough extra...

Kovy's Reef - Final Design - Help me decide!

You all are missing the obvious here. You need to move the front door so it opens into the game room. Problem solved, just some miner construction to do. :)

Thanks I'll do that as soon as I put the list together of what I lost. Right now my mind is still trying to shy away from it.

Ok so I think the tank has finally stabilized and the die off has stopped.(sad) After a couple of weeks of small water changes I bit the bullet and we did four large changes 30ish gallons each. Now the nitrates are down to roughly 15 (ppm) I thought about listing eveything I lost but I think...
