    Cam is a Nikon Coolpix 990 - great with macros, but it has problems with blues so I can't get any decent shots under actinics.

    An older pic; I don't have the kind of lush acro growth yet that Mike has. I was coming from 2 smallish tanks (a 50g & a 30g).

    Thanks, Josh, Katchupoy! Most of the corals were mine from before I bought this tank, btw. It had been running barebottom when I got it and I didn't want it to cycle, so kept it bb. Dumb luck on my part. I've never had it better.

    So, if you're interested in getting the best possible colors in your acros, you want the highest PAR sustained for the entire photoperiod? And, that keeps the number of zoox down, so that the corals pigments (not zoox pigments) dominate?
