    your sump may not hold enough water if your electricity goes out with that set up. If I could do everything over again I would keep a refugium out of sump. The yellow light grows algae on everything, tubes, reactors... nice drawing though and good idea

    My chiller malfunctioned and when I got home from work the temp was 85-90 degrees. :mad: most of my sps exibited some stn and a few had rtn'd. The stn'd ones all recovered although very slowly and were brown for a long time. :rolleyes:

    I think if you want to run a dirty water tank(for certain zoo's and softies) your skimmer is good for that. It will keep it dirty but not too dirty.
