    thank you both i just need to do some fine tuning on the rock work at the top the wife likes it but im not 100% happy. needs more ledges and caves . in the sec. pic i do think it is some sort of sponge wish i could get a better pic

    no icant get abetter pic for some reason i cant post a sharper image pic on here so i had to take my camera to its lowest setting. i can tell that it looks like a brown puffball with one opening kind of feels like a leather coral also

    filter socks?

    my sump came with two filter socks for the overflows are they nesseray?or wont they just hold onto the very stuff i'm trying to skim off inbtween cleaning them ? i'm about 2and ahalf weeks into curing my rock and cycleing my tank

    :confused: my rock arrived sat and wet into my tank right away (kaleni from reefer madness) . my skimmer has slowed down and all my levels are ok , i have my atinics on for 4 hrs. a day but all my rock is looking white . am i doing something wrong? :confused:
