    Live Rock

    I am new to Saltwater. I have a 55 gallon aquarium which I am using. How much live rock should I get. Should I do all live rock, or some base rock and some live rock? What is the best kind?

    Powerhead questions

    I am new to saltwater. Right now I am gathering all the equipment that I will need. I keep hearing about powerheads, also keep hearing that I should not have an undergravel filter, isn't that what powerheads are for? Could someone please explain this to me. Appreciate all help.

    Looking for Advice

    Mike thanks for the reply. I read that fish don't do good under the higher intensity light. Is there a good middle ground that I can have both my fish and ivertebrate happy? Also does it take a while for the live rock to get to the point that I don't need a filter?. Thanks
