Thanks Wrightme43. I will start with doing a good siphon of my substrate and rearanging my live rock and do a few partial water changes over the next couple of weeks. I added a second skimmer a week or so ago and it sure doesn't work very well yet. My cheepy in my sump still works better than...- sho14u

Annoying barnacle like white specs taking over
I took a peice of live rock out of my tank and took a picture of it. Sorry if the pictures aren't the best, damm auto focus. They are mainly congregating on my live rock, sea shells and dark places. Should I take out my live rock and do something with it to kill them? Thanks for the suggestion...- sho14u

This is a peice of live rock that I took out of my tank to hopefully have a better picture of the barnacle things that seem to be taking over my tank. They start out as a crusty spot and turn into a fleshy sea fan type thing about the size of a grain of rice. Any ideas?- sho14u

Thanks guys for all the info. The only thing is, everyone keeps leaning towards Spirobids, but all the research that I have been doing on here and on the net, shows the curly Q things and mine look a lot like barnacles. White crusty things taking over tank
Thanks for the reply. They aren't that big of a deal with the exception that they make some of my live rock look bad and that they stopped up my sump pump. I will try backing off of the food and seeing what hapens. Thanks agian- sho14u
