    Sand or Bare bottom

    My tank used to be bare bottomed. You need to make sure you remove the detritus that collects regularly, or keep it in suspension with water flow. The detritus will be utilitzed by life in the tank, then it is more easily removed via filtration methods when suspended in the water column...

    Thanks, Curt! Here is my Golden Dwarf Moray who was pouting because I wasn't feeding the tank, and only taking pictures. I think Scott took a better picture when he was over. Hopefully, his turned out better than mine.

    Here is my tank on Friday. It shows the green a little better of the hammer and the polyps on the toadstool, however, it is still a lot more intense.

    Thanks! It's OK to say it is showing off, too. The hammer is smokin'. I wish the picture showed the color intensity a little more (thanks scott for taking them!!). I'll have to check my pictures to see if the green came out on any of those.

    Different Planaria treatment

    I used Levamisole in a QT tank to try and rid corals of Acro eating flatworms. The corals ended up not making it, but it seemed to work in getting the AEFWs off the coral. I've never used it against the red planarian flatwoarms, so I can't comment on its effectiveness.

    Yikes - sleestacks! Nothing like the nightmares from my youth. Kids now-a-days would laugh at them. Curt - your poor dog....that's got to be considered abuse. :lol: Alright alright....I'll try and get a couple of pictures in the next day or so. Better dig out my camera :rolleyes:
