Long time no see... a picture friendly story

Go large on the suction, that is the important thing, do not undersize it at all. Use a schedule 80 BH from the sump tank to the pump. There are other options for an external pump but if power is ever lost it is a bad thing. The only other thought is get an acrylic sump or a tank that has...

Long time no see... a picture friendly story

lolly column? BEST thing to do is sketch your plumbing idea and post it here, we've done that lots to figure out the best way. I already see you're in it for a few challenges. That pump is big, the glass on the sump looks standard, thin, if so you have to be absolute certain it won't just...

    Mh 150 or 250?

Seems like a 24" deep tank you will need the 250's, unless your not much into corals or wanting to limit what you can keep, also you can locate corals higher but might limit the amount of growth. I'd personally go 250,s but that is just my opinion.

Discussion of the Week ~ coral feeding~

don't feed them anymore, if you have a power head keep it on them, might help. What test on the water are you doing? list them all please. Also if your still having issues, bring your water and have your local fish store test it for you as a back up. I'm scooty so what issues are you having on...

Discussion of the Week ~ coral feeding~

Just starting out trying to feed corals probably isn't a good idea, your going to end up polluting your tank unnecessarily and risking a crash. Keep your water clean, do the water changes, let the tank age and don't rush it, time is your best friend.

    Mh lighting for 130gal tank

I had two 250w Mh on my 5ft tank, it left shadows in areas when the light did cover. I guess it depends on how high you mount them and what type of reflectors you use. Now cost wise, I'm not sure If you could get LEDs and be as good on price or not, these days the cost should be about the same...

Mơ Thấy Áo Tây Thì Nên Đánh Đề Con Gì?

If the price is right and you are just starting out, it is probably a good deal to start with a used system while your still learning. It can work to do what you need, the overflow is for a sump, that is probably the best used of it.
