    Swimming pool into reef tank

I built 3 separate 3000 gallon ponds to quarantine corals. (I.e., duplication....if one pond got infested, the other two were backup). But I certainly didn't want to swim in them. LOL

    Swimming pool into reef tank

You could swim in Mr. 10,000's tank. (no longer running) You can also swim in Reefzilla. I went to Kevin Carpenter's house and saw this one personally. There's also a guy who put an acrylic window in the swimming pool which was shared by a very large reef tank. I.e., you could see the...

    regal angel

Fairly reef-safe if you train them. (More later) However, it will outgrow your 55 eventually. Training Always keep a clip with nori in the tank. However, that's not a sufficient diet. Find a small piece of rock with a number of holes in it. Feed it a food that contains sponge too. (I...

    ID Help, GOT PICTURE

Oh, oh, oh I know Mr. Koteeeeeer. It's not a good idea to keep something that poops out chocolate bunnies....or so I've been told. BTW, this is killing me that I don't have a clue what this is beside a "siphon non-ascadian brain sponge snail that has bunny shaped poop"

    Purple Frilly Rhino Scorpion Fish

I've been stung by a long-spined (Diadema sp.) urchin through these gloves to I would assume an aggressive scorpionfish could get through them too if it was so inclined. However, I've found that even with dangerous animals, once you become the "bringer of food", they become quite safe. In...

    Barnicles?

Barnacles don't open and shut. That's more typical of bi-valves.

    Losing my snails

While you say all of your parameters are perfect, it's hard for us to troubleshoot. While we would need all of the normal parameters, the two that I would want to see most would be your readings for Copper and Salinity/Specific Gravity.

I am not affiliated with any online magazine. I maintain the RF library which can be found here. FWIW, I am pretty much a member everywhere. However, this is not a solicitation for RDO (which I am a member of) nor RC (which I'm a member of) nor WWM (which I'm a member of), nor any other online...

    Small / Tiny fish sugestions

The blue chromis have a higher death rate during shipping so that's why they are more expensive. If it was sitting around, it was probably a citron goby or a yellow clown goby. If it was swimming around, it was probably a yellow coris wrasse. (They are usually shipped as babies but they...

    Small / Tiny fish sugestions

Is your tank covered? I like Royal Grammas and Black Cap Basslets. If the other fish are peaceful they will stay out of the rockwork and swim around mid-level.
