    Green Film

If you touch it with your finger, is it a slimy film or is it something that's harder that you would need your fingernail to scrape off? Also, did you start your tank with tap water or RO/DI water?

    Flashlight fish

Boy I hate common names. Unfortunately, there are fish in numerous Genera bearing the name Flashlight fish. When you state Flashlight fish, are you speaking of an angler, a lanternfish, or a real flashlight fish?

    Remineralize RO/DI with what?

Heck, I did this all of the time because I had so many tanks with so many different Calcium, Magnesium, and Alkalinity draws. It definitely made my life easier. I had my own witches brew that I used but there are things you can buy. Off the top of my head I can think of Osmo Prep Marine or...

Cinderblocks filled with supporting rods and sand. Also, sand on the bottom (over the concrete floor of the warehouse). Then a very thick pond liner was draped over the walls, down the outsides of the cinderblocks, and then secured to the floor. You have to be extremely cautious in how you...

    Swimming pool into reef tank

PM Steven Pro on his coral greenhouse. He can give you a lot of pointers. Anthony Calfo has an article or two on the subject. I think they are on Wet Web Media. If you change your mind and want to go with an indoor set up in a warehouse. (Necessary because of our cold winters), feel free to...
