    Skimmer question

    a skimmer alone is not going to 100% ensure you don't get hair algae....... what else are you doing to prevent it? Water changes, clean additives, quality lights, and good filtration all help you reach the no HA level, but it is very hard to stay there for even an experienced aquarist.

    haha well I know many people think they are really gross looking!! no idea on their long term success in tanks tho, seen them here and there but I honestly haven't watched for many success stories as I'm one of those who think they are too big and ugly for my tank lol :)
