I-PHONE ALL THE WAY!! I haven't had a problem with coverage over on this side of the state. (Clarkston area) There isn't alot of people in this area compared to the west side so less cell towers and still haven't had any more dropped calls than with Verizon. I personally haven't used the...
Yeah that dark wood is great. Definently a 70's house. It still needs alot of work but we are getting closer to getting the basement done. We still have one room down there that is all DARK paneling!!! That will be another project for the near future.
I agree with checking at Costco. We just purchased a T1i with two lenses from Costco. Also as stated they have a 90 day no questions asked return policy.
Also the original plan of having the sump in the closet under the stairs has been replaced with using a "utility room" that is about 10' to the left of where the tank is. The problem was getting the pipes there with the tank being in the basement.
Just a little problem nothing that these won't...
We are also replacing the carpet with laminate and we found some carpet under the top layer that we thought about keeping.
But then we decided against that idea!!!
We had some help pulling up the old carpet
Well I guess it is time for a little update. Not much work getting done on the tank but the basement where it is going to be is finally coming along nicely.
Before.
The Apex controller has built in Tunze control with it. No need to buy the seperate Tunze controller. Vortechs are also good powerheads. First I would start with getting the flow situation taken care of and then get a controller. IMO Tunze or Vortech is the way to go with flow.
TotalVapor I think your math is a little off on the $20 a month more figure. Even if you drop down to the 6 bulb fixture that is still 324W. Compare that to the same MH fixture of 608W and the difference is only $8.63 per month more. That is using the national average of .12 per KWH. I...
The unit in your picture is just a RO system you can add a DI canister to it easily and they aren't to expensive. You also need to get a TDS meter to measure the output water to determine when you need to change membranes and DI cartridges.
Lets compare this a T5 fixture with 8x54W equals 432W while a 2x250W MH fixture with 2x54@ T5's for actinic supplement equals 608W. Meaning it will only cost you about $92 extra per year than the T5 fixture. That is $7 more per month. I don't know if you would have to run a chiller or not but...
You can grow just about anything you want with the T5 fixture but if your like me and don't like the look of a T5 only tank then go with halides. The T5 tanks remind me of a freswater tank with the look of the water (no shimmering) etc... Maybe get a fixture with a bunch of LED's to add the...
If this unit has been dissasembled then I would bet that the flow restrictor is missing in from the waste line. RO membranes have to have some back pressure on them to work right. You can take your membrane out and find out how many GPD the membrane is so you can purchase the correct...
We make our own food also. We use a Seafood Medely from the supermarket, it usually contains squid, octopus, shrimp, a couple of different types of fish and then we throw some pellets and Nori in the mix as well.
