I know that it is not brass, since I have another metal halide light just like the one that dropped in. It came off a 400W HQI pendant that had a paint powder coat, but I am sure there were scratches inevitably on it. I suspect that is was either steel or aluminum.

For those who use it, are you satisfied with it. Do you need a computer to program it, or can you do it directly on the controller. To turn off a channel must you go through a sequence of menus or is it one or two buttons.

Tradewind chillers have worked well for me and they stand behind their product. I have 1/3 Super on a 330 gal tank. Sizing chillers is very important especially considering they are quite expensive.

Looking for someone who has experience with the Reefkeeper 2. Were you able to set it up to record data to a website or gain Internet access?

Great suggestion. Learn something new everyday. Do you know where they sell that sand paper in the Seattle/Tacoma area? When you do it, do you mask the areas that are not scratched. What is the finish grit necessary to get the gloss of newer acrylic.

Has anyone removed scratches in an acrylic tanks without removing the salt water? What process did you use and how succcessful was the end product. I did a search and found people claiming to remove scratches on dry surfaces, but none inside with the saltwater. With all of today's technology...

Hi: During my visit, I did check fish in with the luggage. Worked fine. I also notice that they keep the salinity very low. North shore is tclearly the best snorkeling. Thanks for the input.
