Everything but my alveopora made it back - 2 mini maxis, 3 zoanthid frags, 3 horseshoe crabs, 1 linkia starfish, 2 monti plate frags, 1 branching monti frag, and a stomatella snail. :D

Due to a head cold my husband gave me, because he's so generous, I am afraid I will not be well enough to attend tomorrow :( Was looking forward to it, too. I will have to catch you all at the next meeting. Have a great time!!!!

Sounds like a good start to me, especially if you are sticking with the stock lighting. You don't want to add too many corals that need a little more in the light department.

Not at all!! :D So I bought mine used from another reefer, who included quite a bit of parts and equipment with it. A media basket was one of those items, but mine looks like it was originally for a different type of tank, because it doesn't quite fit well in the back (it's a little small)...

I agree. I know quite a few reefers who have success with either or, not both, because they either keep their water a little dirty, or they keep it clean. I have little success with hard corals like LPS and SPS, but my softies grow like crazy. This is because my water is a bit "dirtier". I...

+1 Astrea. I have a bunch of weird ones with crazy numbers of legs. They irritate my zoas, though, so I pluck them out.
