90 gallon, Blue Back with center OFB

RF, Just completed a 90 gallon, 48x18x24, with a Blue Back, and a low profile 6"x 4.5" OFB. One large porthole, and fully polished. This tank will be going to a service company that has never seen one of my tanks. His client wanted their tank built by CFI! How cool is that! I have no idea...

    Trace Element Tank

RF, One of my good friends in the hobby, that lives down in Texas, needed a small project done. Paul sent me a drawing and said, "make it happen!" This trace container has 3 sections, and lids for each with holes for his dosing pumps. It came out great! Let us know what you think? I made...

    SNOW!

Peppie, I have not, but I think with an experienced rider, and the front end squashed down, and the right rear sprocket, it should be a 9 second or slightly below, bike. I don't want to smoke a clutch to find out. I do know there isn't much with a license plate faster on the street.

    double dome aquarium ideas please!

I have retro fitted many a tank for jelly fish. Just need to fab up 4 corner pieces so they don't get stuck in one. Water flow would need to be gentle. Just sayin', J

    SNOW!

Reefman, Cool, another rider on the reef forum! You may not believe me, but I have never had a ticket, not that I have never deserved it! I don't race, for one thing, I'm not that fast, and second, I can't afford the cost of tires. Fast guys will smoke a set of tires every 20 laps! 350-400 per...

    SNOW!

That ain't no lie! R1's are good bikes, but I have always run GSXR's. I keep the open throttle stuff to the track. It is real hard to restrain myself while on the street. I always seem to have muscle spasms in my right wrist? Have you experienced this? Seems to only happen while I'm riding...

    SNOW!

I dropped off the Superbike to my mechanic to swap out my stock rear shock for a brand new Ohlins. I can't wait! He will also be installing a rare, Titanium height adjuster from Yoshimura that shaves off weight. Dave will also be installing some electronics as well. I had only a 1 week window to...

    Tank stand help

I have also seen extruded aluminum stands built with 90 degree brackets that would work for your tank size. You can purchase the aluminum online, as well as the brackets and hardware. Would take very little skill, and tools. Just an idea. J

    Tank stand help

I'd go with steel, 2x4's take up way too much room under a tank. Steel will be stronger, and last longer if painted and not soaked with saltwater all the time. Just me, tho, J

360 gallon for our friends at Aquarium Co-op

We were trying to get this tank done and delivered asap, and we wrapped it up. Then I thought I better take a pic or two or you guys wouldn't believe me! Just to clarify, we do not flame polish anything. Flame polishing heat stresses the plastic, and will make it craze, sometimes sooner rather...

360 gallon for our friends at Aquarium Co-op

RF, If you guys haven't been to Aquarium Co-op in Edmonds, you should swing by. They are a hard core Freshwater store. Corey has a great store, very clean, LED's on every tank, and has a huge selection of fish I have never seen before. Corey needed a tank for his store, and came by the shop...

Ecotech Radion LED: Are they worth it?

They are money well spent. You can spend a bunch more and get little for it. Buy what think you'll need, and never look back. Evergrows will do you right as well.

    Skimmer Stand

RF, We have been making skimmer stands for clients forever, but have been asked to post a pic or two. Your wait is over! Just finished one up for a long time client, and took a few pic's. This stand is for the Vertex 130, and raises up the skimmer 2". Check out that polish! Enjoy, Jason

Large Steel Stand for Aquarium Co-op

RF, Just completed a large 72x48x38 steel stand for a buddy of mine who owns Aquarium Co-op. Corey has a store mascot named Hank, he is a freshwater puffer. The stand is made with 2x2x 3/16" square tube. Corey also needed an overhead rack that is 38" above the deck. The rack is 37x12, and...
