    Saltwater City's New 310 Install

We did a 4" on the front and back, and about 1.5" on the ends, the COFB's are glued to the top for strength as well. Thanks, J

    Saltwater City's New 310 Install

RF, Don't know if everyone is aware, but Saltwater City has some impressive installs in the area. Some are in some places that you can go for dinner. Elysium Fields is one off the top of my head. They have a boomerang tank, as well as a Large Jellyfish Tank. Saltwater City knows where to go...

    Steel Stand goes to Snohomish

RF, Just finished a 73x25x36 steel stand for a returning reef hobbiest up in Snohomish. We used 1.5" square tubing, capped the ends like we always do, and placed 14 "through holes" for adding a Maple Face Frame/Doors in the near future. Hopefully the new owners will provide a Powder Coated...

    Peppie's 180 Reef-Room

You ain't seen shavings, that's nothing! See what your floor looks like when you trim 1.5" material. I have gone after it with the dust collector as a shop vac would be like throwing a toothpick into a volcano! J

    Bricky's Steel Monster

RF, A good friend of mine, who is at the top of the Reef Keeping hobby, ordered up a steel stand a few weeks ago. Didn't seem that heavy on paper, they seldom do! The structural steel stand is 72.25x48.25x30, and we used all 2"x2"x 3/16" square tubing. Bricky also wanted to place a piece of...

Karen's 205 gallon Continuous Overflow Box (COFB)

You are correct, sir! This system will have a remotely located sump, and will have enough room for the drain down. The area that will drain down is 15 gallons, plus the drain down from the display side. As long as the return nozzles are not pointed strait down, there should be minimal...

Karen's 205 gallon Continuous Overflow Box (COFB)

The COFB covers are black, which helps cut down on stuff growing in there, but there is 4 nice sized access ports to get in there if need be. If a fish gets into the COFB area, I'd just unscrew the Primary drain stand pipes and give them a ride down to the sump. Best waterpark ride ever! :fencing:

Karen's 205 gallon Continuous Overflow Box (COFB)

Reeffrontiers, Well, Karen and her husband Doug, came to the shop to pick up their new tank. It was nice to finally meet them face to face. What a neat couple, felt like we had known each other for decades! They are excited for the new tank. I bet they have it filling before the night is over...

Karen's 205 gallon Continuous Overflow Box (COFB)

RF, We have a new slogan at Clear Fabrications, Inc. I don't know why I haven't thought of it sooner. Tell us what you think.... "We turn dreams into reality, one tank at a time." It entered into my brain while building Karen's 205. We are honored to be the builder she chose, and thank...

    Nice 120 Heading down South

Reefers, It is a catch 22 being super busy. I can't take pictures of projects before they are gone forever! Leaving everyone hanging....... I got the Nikon out and snapped a few before they were loaded up. This one is going to Steve Bishop of CLASSIC AQUARIUMS, INC near Portland. Our...

Broken Brace on upper acrylic 125 gal tank.

I's start fresh and cut the top completely off then machine out a new top using a new piece of cell cast acrylic. If you have a router, and a nice flush cutter, it can be done. I have fixed a bunch of other company's tanks over the years. Best of luck, Jason
