    Aggressive fish keepers.

How many people here are keeping aggressive tanks? Is it a FO, FOWLR or a reef. I am wondering if those doing or have done aggressive reefs, were you successful? I have a 250 aggressive reef and am having more fun with it than any other reef setup I have done. It's only been up for a few...

    Steven's perfect nightmare

Thanks peppie. I don't have any fish in there that he can eat. The wrasse will be removed soon. The most aggressive/dominant fish in the tank is my yellow tang. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

How is you'r livestock doing from seamax?

I bought two fish. A blue tang and a coral beauty angel. Both had eye infections. I lost the blue but the beauty is doing better. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

Lets see if this works. Here is a video of me feeding the grouper and lion. Sorry for the poor quality, it was taken with my phone.

Live rock vs. FNI Reef man made Rocks

The only reason we look for light rock is because we pay by the pound. I seen the FH rock at seamax. I personally liked the way it looked. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

A great event. One of my favorite races was on that side of the mountains. I think it was called the "Fox Hunt". Girls in for free, guys pay double. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

    Calcium Inhibits Coral Growth

Mike's head is already too big Reeflogic. You wanna talk about calcium overload... I have had the pleasure of discussing this with Mike in person, I think my head about fell of my shoulders. The most helpful piece I took away from the conversation was trying to replicate the same levels of...

    Fiber optic lighting.

Mike, I may take you up on that. As long as I can pick what's left of your brain along the way... Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

    Fiber optic lighting.

Alright Mike - you may not like me for calling you out on this. But I have been thinking of that project we were talking about at SeaMax. I am very interested in its potential. A couple of questions that I have are: what kind of drop in PAR (I know you hate PAR as a reference) do you experience...

    "Feeding" sps

Mojo, you think that there is any possibility that a mixed reef would need to be fed? Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

    "Feeding" sps

Titan, that is exactly why I ask the question. I currently have oyster and phyto feast in my fridge. They are not cheap as you know, so if they are no real benefit to the tank, why are we buying them? There is an adverse effect of these products as well. We are dumping organics into the water...

Set Up the Live Rock Center Piece in my Tank

Jay, When I first started in the hobby, I found it very helpful to see other tanks in person. That way I could ask questions. I did this while I was collecting the equipment and got better advise than I would have at any store. I had a 36 bowfront years back and lit it with a 250 halide. But...

    "Feeding" sps

So if someone told you that the coral "food" that we buy, among otherthings, was a waste of money. Would you believe them? I had this clown, , at Seamax tell me that the polyp extention that I see on my sps is just a stimulation response and not a "feeding" response. Also that active...

    algae advise

New2salt, air bubbles in the substrate are perfectly normal and not an algea problem. Nassarious snails are very active and a great addition to any tank for moving around substrate. Too much food is usually the fuel to any algea bloom. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

    Steven's perfect nightmare

Krish- I built the wall with the intention of it looking like the edge of a reef where these types of predators would naturally hang out. The wall is built on 5 large base rocks. So waste accumulation should be relatively no more than what should be expected when keeping lions, groupers ect...
