I found my Mandarin out of my tank this morning. I was surprised to see that it jumped out of the tank because they seemed to just hover around. Anyone every have this happened before? Kinda of bummed that I lost this guy.

I feed mine nori sheets. Tangs are graziers so I use a clip so they can pick at it all day. I also conditioned them to eat from my hand. I makes it a lot easier to catch them if you need to.

That's got to be frustrating.. Patience is something I hear over and over again in this hobby. I just helped someone catch fish out of a 125g and we ended up pulling almost all of the rock and coral out to get them. Good luck to you.. I have a sailfin tang that eats out of my hand and so easy...

Picked some up from Midway $3.99. Coral Food.. It was kinda cool feeding this stuff is a lot finer that mysis shrimp. I hope to see some good growth.

I've had an ich break out in my mixed reef and did not use any med's. I have a cleaner shrimp and had my salinity at 1.021-.022. I didn't know any better but by having my salinity lower it might have help rid the ich. a couple weeks after the ich cleared off of my sailfin and six line wrasse...

Thanks for everyone's input. All great ideas. I rubber banded the stalk to a rock last night and placed it in low flow area. It's looking a little happier this morning.

I used a couple rubberbands to secure it to a rock. Now it's gonna be pissed because it's in a straight jacket.. LOL. How long should I keep it rubber banded? It's a pretty big, heavy peice of toad stool.
