Ithink that the nitrate reason is the same for my pussy soft coral just does not seem to be growing seems to be shrinking as well since my nitrates fell.

I did not think that this was true but i could not get my ph highier than 7.8 and then when the weather had change from cold to warm opened a window and wow my ph goes to 8.4 and lowest at 8.1 when lights off in the morning strange :).mark

I have the same problem it grew like mad then started to get smaller even though everything is fine i.e. phosphate and nitrates and even ph and flow still dying off my iodine is fine as well at a loss myself.

i have a pin point monitor and tested with a salifert test kit and got same result but funny thing is i have had my windows open over the last couple of days because of the weather being warm. mark
