    Can anyone ID this? it looks almost like a small sponge of some sort. It is white and porous, seems to be getting larger? It was attached to a piece of LR that I bought last week.

    thank you well thank you all so much. I have learned more here at this site than any other that i have found of it's kind. it looks like i need to go with a 75 gal. and a sump and pump ste-up. Are arcylics easier to deal with? it also looks like i should just do alittle shopping for some good...

    I was thinking that I would add a sump at a later time. so it would be better just to start off with a sump? Also can I put the sump in the cabinet under the tank?? I appreciate your input reiple. thank you.
