    Above tank refegium drain help needed.

    make a 'ramp' out of acrylic or run a sponge from the refuge to the tank. I did the sponge trick to a high mounted CPR Backpak and now I'm getting no splashing or microbubbles into the tank.

    Aquarium silicone for sealing the divider. With the way thats set up I'd be afraid of pods being picked up by the skimmer :) The 'best' way to setup a refuge (IMO) is 3 chambers, skimmer on one side, refuge on the other and the return section in the center. -Dan

    Get a reamer to oversize the holes, and do it by hand! I don't drill holes in an acrylic tanks with a power tools anymore (aside from hole saws), I've had too many sheets of plexi catch the blade and crack all the way across -Dan
