    Best NSW change tote.

Good thought I might see if I can find one used. I see some here and there in my town. Though in time, I think a new one will be worth the invesement. I only live about 1/2 mile from reachable salt water so a durable container motivates me to continue frequent saltwater changes. Thanks!

    Best NSW change tote.

I am looking for ideas on getting a 45-60 gallon tote that is durable enough for constant use. I fear the rubbermaid totes would not stand the test of time(I read bad reviews). I plan on using the tote for Natural Salt Water changes. Thanks

    murky water vs. filter

I have a fluval 404 filter that has been running 5 hours an my new 65 gallon tank set up(+15 sump). Long story short, the sand/rock substrate I collected had way too much organic debris in it. Though my filter seemed to clear out all of the visible debris, there is still enough murk(fine...

    new coldwater set up troubles.

Good idea one of the overflow pipes was going into the sump compartment with a low baffle. I now have both going into the high baffle area. Bubbles seemed to have diminised for now!! Thanks for the tip.

    new coldwater set up troubles.

I think most of the bubbles might be forming as the drainpipes go into the sump. There is some real turbulence in the sump considering. The drain pipes are about 3-4 inches underneath the waterline.
