Can you help me with an Algae ID

as far as i know, the letuce nudibranchs are mainly selective feeders, feeding only on the bryopsis hair algae, and a few other types of hair algae. i bought a few a while ago to kill my bryopsis outbeak and they devoured it indeed. the guy at the lfs said that they ate caulerpa too....nope...

    Did You Know?!?!?!

petsmart matches prices off the internet! apparently petsmart HAS to match the prices on the internet if you print out the page of the site you're looking with the price on it. their livestock and employees suck but i'd pay $16 for 200 gallon worth of salt mix any day! petsmart.com salt mix

    percula in overflow

as long as you can get a siphon going and sneak up on him it usually works. just make sure there is a bucket at the other end of the siphon. don't want fish ala carpet ;)

    percula in overflow

if you're good with siphons, get some large diameter tubing and suck him out, i do that with my citron gobies all the time!

    RICORDIA frag

ricordea are coralimopharians, thus in the specification of mushroom anemones. nonetheless they have similar anatomy and can be replicated in the similar manner that any other rhodactus or discosoma mushroom can be.

    Green Nudibranch Slug Thingamajigger!?

just make sure you get the crispata species not the ornata. htere are a difference. crispata has a chance it will eat other macro, the ornata will only eat derbasia and bryopsis algae.

    RICORDIA frag

    Will these lights work?

the fixtre might, but what kelvin bulbs are you going to use and what do you want to keep?
  17. A

    Cowries?

well, that depends on what kind of tank you are putting them into. the tiger cowrie does great but he'll eat any corals you have in there as well.
