    Bristleworms

Sounds like Spirorbid polychaetes (see link below) http://www.reeffrontiers.com/photos_corals/showphoto.php?photo=634 Bristleworms are detrivores just like vultures. Just because you see a vulture eating a zebra, does that mean the vulture killed it? Very useful in ridding your tank of...

    Torch Corals and Clown Fish

I wouldn't worry about the bristle worms - they're detrivores. The one problem with the torch is if the clown rubs one of it's polyps against a sharp edge of the coral's skeleton and damages the polyp.

    leather coral id please

I'd give it a few more days, leathers can sometimes go a few days to a week with "bad hair days" (no polyp extension), especially when transferring between tanks

    new 24 aquapod

I'm not sure if the Aquapod is the same, but I'm using a cassette tape case as my surface skimmer in my 24g Nanocube - it raises the water level in the display and lowers the water level in the back. Use the half of a cassette tape case that doesn't hold the tape and place it over your inlet...

Hi! Wow, glad I found this site... 6.5 pico tank...

With such a small system, a small amount of evaporation will lead to a large salinity swing. Do you have a plan for fresh water top off?

Giant 'pods...do they need a predator?

It would just be like amphipods in a refugium, their numbers will depend on the available food/detritus. I've got hundreds in my 24 gallon cube with no problems, of course if I added nearly any type of carnivore/omnivore fish the amphipod population would definitely go down.

    Naked turbo snail?

That's referring to Project DIBS's coral breeding experiments, so unless you have corals that are sexually breeding and producing very small babies you shouldn't have anything to worry about. This is one of the best snails for algae control out there.

    Need a good home!

Probably didn't find the site via Google, as I didn't have much success googling Reef Frontiers via comman salt water terms. Could he have gone to a local fish store (SWC?) and someone recommended the site? Still... a 20 year old tank???
