    Lets see your best shots!!!

Thank you! Let see now abou the lighting.., if I remember correctly it was 250w 10K bulbs plus VHO's. I mean it was nearly 10 years ago but I think that's what it was at the time.

    My 300 Gallon sps tank

Kool! lol Love to see more shots of your tank. It is always a treat. And, you come a long ways in terms of picture taking, my friend. Keep it up! PS. In one of your posts you mentioned about adding some sand. Did you change your mind? As far as keeping wrasses, you can always add a couple of...

    Lets see your best shots!!!

Nice pix everyone! I don't keep many coral these days but here are some of the shots that I've taken when I kept them some time ago. This I believe is from around 03 or 02 in my old 75g tank, monties going berserk... and some random shots. And some acros that I dearly love but do...

    My 300 Gallon sps tank

Hey Charlie, tank looks real nice. Hopefully I can come and visit this thread more often but you know how real life is... I almost quit completely last year but decided to stick it out with my 110 and just keep whatever I can. Things looking up lately so I'm thinking I'll keep that old tub...

    Show off your clownfish!

Yeah, I still have my 110g tank but it is fish only tank with aiptasia farm blooming. Waiting for spring time to take it apart and maybe start fresh. Anyway, I hate to take this thread off topic... ;) Big Mike may raise an eyebrow or both...lol PS. To all that keep clownfish, you need to go...

    Show off your clownfish!

Hi Charlie! :) It's been a while when I actually felt like posting, or visiting a reef bulletin board even.... Case of serious burn out, I guess. PS. here's better image of the old battle axe. I swore off keeping clownfish....lol

    Show off your clownfish!

Here are my old Clarkii with the rose bubbletip anemones. I no longer keep it but while I did it was lots of fun. She was a monster and took pleasure of taking pieces of flesh from my arms... And this is A.periderion that used to live in my old 75g tank with the H.crispa

    Devastating Tank Tragedy

Hang in there, Mike. I felt the same way watching my 75g tank die after 6 years of being real pleasure to watch and enjoy. I'm sure you'll rebuild your tank to be a beauty alover again, and this time you'll take the time to ensure some redandancy into a calcium reactor. Neither this nor kalk...

Show me your full tank shots

Wow! I can't believe two years passed since I posted pix of my tank.. Lots of things changed with my tank, that's for sure, but most importantly it is still alive after 6 years... :D And a tad older actinic shot to show some of the fluorescense. ;) And congrats to all who posted shots...

O.K Let see some coral shots.

Thanks, dabears! :) Well, no secret, really. As soon as I added calcium reactor the things just started to take off. It had some decent flow from a powerhead that was nearby and that was it. Things just grow in this tank for some reason. :D I never kept Torches for very long so I can't post...

O.K Let see some coral shots.

Don't laugh, it won't be small for long if conditions are right. Mine started with even smaller pieces. :D This was the beginning and before I knew it it turned to this :D

O.K Let see some coral shots.

dabears, I have two 250w MH and two 110w VHO actinics over my 75g tank for the lighting. IIRC, the corals grew to what you see in those pictures in about a year. I loved those corals but they should be allowed some space for growth to truly appreciate them and I didn't have enough space to keep...

O.K Let see some coral shots.

It did. I got rid of all of my plating monties a while ago. They have a tendency to take over unless you have 500g tank and got room to spare. :) Here's another shot from the other end of the tank, I had this things allover...

O.K Let see some coral shots.

Here's some Monties when I kept them. They did make an exellent prop shelf...

O.K Let see some coral shots.

That is really cool coral, Charlie. Speaking of Sinularia, Eric Borneman gave me a frag of pulsing variety in Boston( MACNA) that grew about the same size. I gave it to the same LFS guy when it reached about 10 inches. The funny thing about that coral was that it only pulsed when all...
