    nitrates?

    I still feel that some sps corals are very sensitive to 10 ppm of nitrates. With just 5 ppm a few of my sps corals did'nt grow or kept their colors. Again some sps corals didn't mind those levels(10ppm)and continue to do well. Can you try one or two sps frags first and see what happens?JMHO...

    How to tell a Radium is Caput?

    I change my Radiums every 7 months.I never noticed any change in color neither any algae growing after 7 months of use but my corals will start to lose that electric blue coloration on the tips .Radiums are known to decrease PAR quick after that. Vina Del Mar.

    Why you took 4 years to test that water.What brand of Nitrate test kit do you used to test your water? Dont put any sps yet until those levels go down. Let these people in the lfs know about it so they don't continue to sell bad water. Vina Del Mar

    Fuji S700 FinePix camera. I'm still learning how to use it.Somehow the Radiums bulbs I use are confusing the auto mode in the camera,so i'm playing with the manual setting. Vina Del Mar.

    6-1200 maxijets ph pumps in the tank(3 in each end of the tank)and the main pump is a 1500 gph pump. Even the tangs have some difficulties swimming in the open.:D If I have more room inside the tank I'll put some more pumps believe me.. Thanks. Vina Del Mar.
