Alright, let me know what you think.

I use to have an aquapod and miss it! Going to set up another nano though! :D How old is this setup?? Looks like it is still going through a bit of a small cycle. One thing I use to have to do to keep waste down in my aquapod was to siphon out the back chamber as waste accumulated a lot back there.

Just a few thoughts!! Enjoy your tank!! :)

Yes, this is really at the end of its algae bloom. It was a pretty short cycle since I received 5 gals of pre cycled water from MC LIghting.

And yeah! Also a lot of times if I accidentally let the water get to low, then all these microbubbles fill the tank. Then, they accumulate in the first compartment and become discolored...I guess it's like my own ghetto skimmer huh?

Haha!!! I had one of those aqua c nano skimmers on my 24 gal aquapod. Did the job for me. Still have it so I will use in on my next nano tank. :)

Fun fun! I bought mine from a sponsor here (Premium Aquatics) and it worked sufficiently enough for me on a 24 gal aquapod so I'm sure it will work even better on your 12. I liked the skimmer because it was low profile and only required a maxijet to operate. Take a peek around at some of the sponsors and see what they have. These skimmers are really in-expensive and will help your tank tons :)
