The plan is to have anyone interested in carpooling to Barrier Reef's sale, to meet at Mike and Karen's house and head off to Renton to take advantage of their wonderful sale. After all are done, back for a leasurly noonish BBQ here.

We will furnish Chicken for the BBQ and a mini keg of home brew. If anyone wants to bring some soft drinks, brews, hamburgers or brauts, chips, pastries, condiments, vegis, fruits, salads, whatever, that would be cool. It is a potluck but there are no obligations to bring anything as I don't want to exclude anyone due to scheduling or economics.

These are laid back events with the primary goal of having fun with people you know, matching faces with RF names, and making some new friends.

The BBQ will be open from noon untill 3:30 which should allow most to plug it in to their schedules.

If somebody can set up a thread or poll or whatever to allow us to get an estimate of attendance, it will help for chicken shopping.

a few select Southenders are welcome after qualification, but no Eastsiders nor Kitsapers.

Hmmm, perhaps a syntax error.
That is different than the State revenue collection occuring in Las Vegas but I digress (do that a lot)

The Pork would be a great suppliment to the chicken, and much healthier than Brauts...

Now this is starting to sound like a reefin good time! Once we get a better sense of How many peeps I can help ya with the grocery purchase Mike "hey that looks good... buy that, mmmm tasty... buy that, oh oh that too!

I'm quite green, but you don't mind that, I wouldn't mind dropping by to meet you guys and prob prod with my newbie questions.
 
Okay, I need to figure out what ferry I need to catch in the morning. Does anyone know what time everyone is heading down to Barrier from Mike & Karens house?

For whomever goes to barrier, please pick me up 30 snails. I will be here with arrangments. 8:00 AM, no cars yet :)
 
Thanks again to Mike and Karen for hosting this shindig. It was great to meet some new people and reconnect with old friends.
 
It was great to see everyone as well as see some new faces!
