I just changed the lighting on my aquapod from the standard hood to an HQI system that sits on top of the tank. Now that the tank is open I am having a lot more evaporation and was wondering if anyone knew of a place I could get a glass top for the aquapod to reduce the evaporation?

thanks

Where are yopu located at? If you are in Kent/Renton area, there is a place called Valley Glass that will cut any size glass you wish for fairly cheap.

You May NOT want to get a glass top as then the water temperature will rise.

Quite possably allot.

I would get an auto top off system. There are many different ways to go about it.

Remember this! As your water evaporates the amount of salt does not.

So without an auto top off unit your Salinity changes.

it can be done cheaply--( bucket gravity fed and a float switch) but if the float gets stuck with salt creep because you forgot to clean it ---problems

or get a Tunze Osmolator around $130 But you still have to clean the sensor once a week but it is the best in my opinion and yes I own one !

Nice upgrade you've done in my opinion !!
