I set my tank up about a month ago with good LR(65 pounds) and water from the same tank into my 20 gallon with a 45 G sump, also added 20 pounds of fine sand....a month later I have some Zoa's showing but I also added a Tangoroa Goby that I did not ever see, so on the weekend I decided to buy a Pistol shrimp to see if they would pair-up!
Well, it took about 3 seconds and now the two of them are continually busy, man can that shrimp move dirt!! He never stops.
On another note, I also bought 10 brown zoas and because they were just plain jane, I put them straight into the tank, well guess what!! 3 days later and they are bright orange with a bright pink center, they look awesome.
