36 gallon bow front lighting dilema

I have a 36 gallon bowfront I am wanting to put better lighting on it, I plan on having soft corals. the diminsions of my tank are 30L x 15W x 21H. I was all ready to order a power compact light, but then I read the diminsions . I figured I needed a 30 inch light. but the 30 inch light would cover my lid, so I would have to take off the light in order to feed my fish every time. Any ideas?

Are you able to remove the lid? Maybe you could do a light fixture like this: Marine Depot - Orbit Fixtures.
