400w Helios on PFO HQI Ballast not working

Anyone succesfully run the 400w Helios bulbs on the PFO HQI ballast? I just purchased a new ballast and I had one bulb fire for about a week/week and a half and then stop firing (I can see it tryhing to fire, but it doesnt' quite get there) and I had another fire for less than a week and do the same thing.

• I'm figuring either bad compatability between the bulbs and the ballast
• a shortage somewhere in the wiring
• bad sockets?

Anyone successfully run a 400w helios 20k on a PFO HQI ballast?

Sounds like your trying to use a Pulse Start Lamp on a ballast designed for probe start lamps. Check the site & you'll get that information.
