I need to purchase new lights for my 125. Right now it has a custom conopy with spaces for 12-65W PC's I was wanting to buy a few actinics to go with this setup because its all just daylights. So now Im not sure what the difference would be between the 2 different types of actinics 420nm and 460nm. I have no SPS or hard corals, just fish and softies.

460 = bright blue
420 = soft purple/blue

the 460 is a lot brighter but makes everything look blue.

the 420 (actinic 03) is not nearly as bright but makes some of the colors stand out a little more... that one is the "true" actinic

If you have a set-up for 12 pc bulbs... I assume you'll use 6 as actinics? Why not get three 420s and three 460s and get the best of both worlds?

You could also do the same for the daylights... you could get three 67ks and three 10ks

Just a suggestion to give more color spectrum
