550 Gallon project starting up again.

Well Paul hamby and myself were busy this weekend re-plumbing the 550 gallon Sps tank I had in my office. What a project!!! Here are some pictures of the backside and the inside of the tank.

I had about 8 outlets coming into the tank before. I believe now there is 19. Big improvement. The closed loop has 2 infeeds on each side of the tank.

Each side will osilate via a Ampmaster 3000 connected to a electronic ball vavle hayword system.

Both sides will work separately. Every so many seconds the current will change from high to low. 4 on each side high and 3 on each side low. Including the 2 on each side in the middle coming in from the Ampmaster 4700 for a total of 4 returns from the sump.

We also installed a 1 inch drain for easy water changes. That water will go directly into the sewer from the back.

Paul and I will water test it probably Tuesday or wed. Hope everyones tank is going good.

Will have Live camera up and running again in about 2 weeks when we set the live rock in the unit. Also purchased an additional 300 lbs of Beautifull live rock that will work great with the rock I had in the system.

Tank completion!

Well Paul h and myself finally buffed her out today, Sunday. Also put in the new 2 4500 Stingray Sequence Pumps. They rock!!!

Will have rock in by this next weekend. After that I will turn the video camera on once again.
