So, I screwed up my light fixture and have not been able to fix it by replacing ballasts and bulbs. I currently have a 4 bulb T5 fixture and would love to upgrade to LED lighting. The only lights that work are the two 54W Aqua Blue Plus Giessman bulbs. The Actinic Plus Geismann bulbs are not working. Corals have been unhappy for awhile but I've been out of town for over a week. I was wondering if anyone has info on the newest LED lighting. I would like to maybe add one LED wit the lighting I have, if possible, since they are around $500 and then add another a few months down the road when I am financially able. I'd love to hear ideas on what other people have done. Some corals are starting to grow algae on the tops and I'm not being a very good caretaker!

Thanks,
Cynthia

I think what he meant was that you said youd like an led for now around 500 and add another at a later date. What he was saying is that obd has a unit that will work for 369. You will need 2. But 369 is cheaper than 500 and 369 will still be cheaper than 500 more down the road when your finances alow.
