a couple live rock questions

When curing live rock, no light needed? Maybe just a rubbermaid tub with SW and air stone? Or a power head too?

To cure rock, you need a tub to hold the rock, water movement preferably from a powerhead, a heater, and skimmer to remove the dead organic junk..if no skimmer, then water changes at least every 10-14 days.

last time I had to use uncured live rock this pretty much what I did too.
I didn't use a skimmer, but did a couple water changes over the 6 week period I had the rock before I setup my tank.
