I took this the other day and liked how it came out. His colors have been getting deeper since I got him and the blue stripes are more pronounced. Cute little fella.

Well Blazer is the man here as far as photography...

Start by learning the relationship between ISO, aperature, and shutter speed.

Yep, I did some studying on that with my Kodak P&S to get familiar with those settings. I've kinda learned where those controls are on the Canon...lol. Again Blazer, amazing pic...as are all of your's that I've seen...lol.

Just remember, shooting digital is free (well, besides the cost of the equipment, lol) so practice will be your best friend. I've taken well over 15K shots now with my DSLR now and I still feel like I have stuff to learn (and I always will). I somehow see your next purchase as being a good macro lens
