Academy awards sucked!

I found the academy awards to be the worst ever this year. I mean it was just really really bad more than ususal. At least normally they show in the very beggining the little slide of all the old movies and the famous scenes we all know and love. I was waiting for that and i got some load of crap about people and nominees and what the AA means to them. Like i care? Then i thought ellen looked manlyier than me in her outfit i was waiting to see her 5 o'clock shadow. I thought her humor was dry and boring. I was just over all dissapointed in the whole thing. Althought the little skit with Will and Jack was okay.

What did you guys think?

I got so bored with the whole thing, that I left the room and started doing a W/C--My blenny was way more entertaining! :lol:

(Though I thought the bit with Ellen and Clint Eastwood(and Steven Spielburg) in the audience was pretty funny!)

And watching Martin S. finally get his statue was good too--though you knew he was going to win when all 3 directors choose to be onstage to present the award (I can just imagine all 3 backstage--arguing about who actually gets to give him the Oscar to Marty!)

I don't like watching the Oscars but there was nothing good on t.v. aside from the amazing race and Rome was not showign a new episode so i watched a little.....it was ok to see helen (i like hearing Dori ) .... i was pissed that Di Caprio didn't win for best actor ... i mean come on ..... he's a very very good, hot, sexy, a must drool and everything in between actor and he didn't win it !! when is he gonna get one !! cchheesse !! .
