Anybody recognize either this greenish yellow blob I've got growing in a few places or this tiny red flower thing I just spotted? Thanks

Sponge= goodness and the lil red thing is a feather duster also good. Both are filter feeders.

Thanks guys, I did a little research and I think your right, sponge and feather duster, both good news. Is there anything I can do to encourage there growth? Feeding, lighting, flow, ect? Or just leave them alone? The feather is beautiful but both are hidden in dark crevasses

The sponge wants low light, so keep it shaded.
I don't know about "common" experience with sponges, but I do know that I had them when my tank was new, and they faded as my tank matured... They seemed happier with "softie" params when I was allowing nutrients to be a little higher, and as I moved towards lps/sps and brought nutrients down, they faded. But then again, during the process I also upped lighting, which could be the root cause.
I still have them in my nano at work, which is lower light and higher nutrient....
