I was finishing up installing my new uv sterilizer when i began testing the rest of my equipment. well the last thing to test was my lights so i turned them on. when i put my hand in the sump to adjust the powerhead running my uv i felt an extremely strong tingling feeling that when it shocks you, you just know its not supposed to do that. So after after jumping and saying holy @#$% i began process of elimination. turns out the switches that turn the lights on and off on the ballists for my lights are causing the current. they are those little turn switches that I never use because my lights are on timers just like every body elses. Well now that I know the problem I have no light in my tank so who can suggest a new 2 bulb ballast for a 110 tall With NO SWITCHES so this doesnt happen again!!!! Thanks guys:eek:
