Amp Master seal replacment help

Ijust bought the heavy duty marine seal for my 3000 AM pump. I am stumped on the magic of loosening the screw on the rear of the shaft. I cannot get enought tourque to get the thing loose. I am attempting to tuen the screw CCW per the instructions but no dice. Keep in mind this pump sat not running for about a year and a half. The seal took a dump on me and I just shut my CL off and pouted until now. I would like to get this pump running but it is starting to bring out the angry reefer in me :evil:.

Any pointers greatly appreciated short of buying another pump.

Take it to a auto repair shop. Most will have a impact driver (screw driver you hit with a hammer).

I have one but figured it would send the pump into next week.
