My long tentacle anemone doesn't stay in one spot, she doesnt get stuck to anything :(
How can I get her to stay at one spot? She is always on the sand, moved around by the hermit crabs...
Thanks
Margot

i have the same problem... the only thing that saves mine from my massive power head that has killed one other anenome, is the fact that a anenome crab is always on him... keeps him floating lower :D

Anenomnes

Anenomes travel, they have a foot and use it. If they are uncomfotable they will move or even float. Bill at the Seattle Aquarium was explaining that if you want them to shrink stop feeding them and cut down the light. Keep the fish away as the anenomes can change the potency and concetration of the nematocysts.

The LTA needs to settle in a sand bed between some rocks. Of course they need good lighting. :)

I've seen SO many LTA's bought from tanks that have multiple LTA's and they DO sting each other. I've tried iodine dips without success.
